feel the power

So in the course of driving my car. Which is stock, other than a BBK cold air intake, equal length headers and 2 1/2" exhaust from front to back. I noticed that when I floor it. I can feel a sharp power increase when it hits about 2500-3500 rpm. Almost like it has a larger cam and the engine "comes alive". Has anyone else noticed this in their ride. I've had other 5.0 Mustangs and none of them have acted like this SN95. Just looking for some insight.

i've not noticed it. try cleaning the maf. those hi flow filters have a tendancy to deposit oil on the maf and make it run funny

I had thought about that. Its probably time to clean the filter as well.
