So my plan was to get some mods done before I started school and before race season was over. Since I first owned the I immediately started collecting parts and now I put them all on yesterday, haven't started it yet but it'll be done today.

the mods:
cobra intake w/ 70mm throttle body
180* thermostat
1.7 crane roller rockers
ford Motorsport shorty headers
A/c deleted
and fuel pressure regulator.

It was a pain in the ass just because it's an old motor, for example the first lower intake bolt broke in the head luckily my dad drilled it out and we put another bolt w/ a nut.

But anyway, here's some pics of the final finish;

I'm going to JC so it's not a big deal on the whole college thing but it is 20 minutes back and forth and need it done. the car should be faster or even with a ls1 or LT1 hopefully be in the 13.0 area when the juice is on it. And you don't need to take off the heads to put roller rockers its just bolt on in a certain order the my dad does it.

that tru!, still saving money to get some heads, and another clutch and maybe another t5 but right now ill be fine if im in the 13's. Its not going to be anything big right now since im only making 10 an hour part time, so once i get my own place with a garage its going to a 347ci or 351w with a 6speed behind it.

Got it running, and running good! Real responsive to the throttle runs like a bat out of hell, and still haven't touched the heads!. Still have to tighten up some things but overall running good!

i can feel the 13/14 second time slips coming, also fixed some of the idling issues I had. And surely and but slowly the nitrous is being put together as we speak.

That should definitely wake it up on the top end.

If I had to guess, 230-240rwhp, I had the same setup back when CMC ran the lower HP #s.

Not quite enough oats for a LS or LT, without nitrous anyways.
