well, I picked this car up 2 days befor my birthday on March 24th with good intentions for it..
I already had saved up and bought a explorer intake,new style 19's and a 70mm mafs ,performance wires cap and coil, pearlgrane to replace woodgrane and a set of sideskirts to put on the car when I got it..
After 3 months of searching I found my cougar with 44,ooo miles on it and I took it home the 24th.. On the 26th of march I did all the upgrades and was disappointed in how slow it was.. Well I found out my trans was going out and ended up losing reverse and 3rd and 4th 1 day after my birthday when I tried a brakestand..
So I then went out and got a used aod and did my 1st trans install and with the help of all you guys it went smooth,but someone ripped me off and it was a bogus trans that had a sticky 1st and 2nd gear..SOOOOOOO I went out and got a built aod with a mild shiftkit and a dynamic torque converter..I got a great price to have it installed so I did ( 250 bucks only) and I finally got it back home last night june 1st...
I took it for its 1st spin today on dry pavement and she hauls someass...not the best topend on these motors but for the few mods she shur has a hell of a lower end..
