Was a pretty bad ride home b/c of rain so I could not really hammer on it all that hard b/c Nitto DR's + Rain = not so good stuff but I did get a decent feel for the 4.10's a few times and with not even going all the way through the RPM's they made me :notworthy: . If anyone is debating 3.73 or 4.10's go with 4.10's. Even though the car needs to be tuned again it runs and idles better then it did before with the 94/95 TB set up. Still has a slight idle hang when it comes to stops but its nothing as bad as it was before and it just over all drives so much better and the ECU is still learning b/c it has not been driven all that much yet and it still needs to be retuned so I know it will get better.

But I wish this had a happy ending but it did not. Going on my third year w/ my Mishimoto radiator if has finally sprung a leak. It was leaking some b/c you could smell it when I first dropped it off at Andy's but by the time I got home today I had smoke coming out from under the hood and the ABS module and everything in that area was covered with coolant. Looks like its leaking from behind the fan shroud near the top. I e-mailed them asking about a replacement as well. Over all Im pretty happy with the car. First set of mods are done for this year. Here are some pics of the Fox TB Swap.

That sucks!

Why is the Mishimoto radiators always leak? I hope they send you a replacement with no questions asked, that's quality control issue and you are not the only one with the Mishimoto radiator leak.

I know, Ive been reading all the threads over on SN for a few years about them now and was always one of the lucky ones until today. Its was just puking coolant when I backed it into the garage.

You should probably get a new idler pulley, that one looks flat-spotted worse than mine was lol. Question though, what does doing the Fox TB swap do for power? Is it honestly worth the pain to get new parts and hassle of getting a new accelerator cable?

IMO it has to be an improvement over the previous set up. I'll let the dyno decide if its worth it or not. I'll probably replace that pulley when I pull the AC out and short belt it.

You get what you pay for.

Cars are one of the hobbies where it's very hard to find champaign parts at beer prices.

That would be true in this instance if the twice-as-expensive Fluidyne was any different. Based on my experience, they're not.

Fluidynes are twice as much as misto's when they first came on the market and fluidynes leak just as common as any other radiator.

Im going to see if they send me a free one first before I spend any money.

Its hard to tell b/c with the gears it kicks so much harder in the whole RPM range. I do know that it idles a lot better then it did w/ the previous set up. It has not stalled out once on me at all.

Was yours tuned? Mine randomly stalls too sometimes too after my HCI swap, but it isn't tuned yet. Do you have to change your EGR too with this swap?

mine was tuned w/ the previous set up and it runs better now with a different ECU, the same SCT chip and the fox swap. I just think the 94/95 set up is bunk. I wouldnt know about the EGR mines gone anyway.

IMO, get the new one, sell it and use that money towards a Be-cool lol

gotcha, i bet the car feels like a difference beast with the new gears and tb set up.

Venom, did you put the billet throttle cable bracket on there?

Oh, and I'd get a bigger air filter if I were you, and maybe a little shield to reduce turbulence from the fan.

Im looking at getting a shield for it. Yeah the billet cable throttle bracket is on there. Its so nice to bad you cant see it :(

They sent me a warranty return form today so I'll be getting a free replacement and the brackets that are suppose to fix the problem

You should check out the summit w/derale double fan. After doing some researching it seems like the best setup for the money.

I'll look into that, Id like to go w/ a dual fan set up anyway. Not that it gets that hot up here but it would be nice when it does.

BTW now that Ive been driving the car for about a week I love 4.10's!!!!!!!!! Its so perfect w/ my power curve and set up. Also the car drives so good now, the idle does not hang and the RPM's just have a nice smooth idle at 1,000 RPM's when at a stop. Just seems like a whole new car now
