First time at the strip!!

well I finally took my car to the local drag strip here and ran. I had 3 runs, 2 of them were in the 30+ heat, and thats celsius cause im in calgary.

my best of the night was later on and it was a 14.1 at 99mph with a 2.2 60ft.
not too bad for being on bald street tires and at our elevation of 3800 ft.

I know the car has 100mph in here now the way she sits, just need to go out a few more times.

yeah man, the blower and everything lol it sucks, alot of nice cars up here run crappy times, my buddy had his stage 3 srt4 out and ran
13.8 at like 103 so it does suck.

haha honestly yes. s197's are like mid-high 14's, although there was a turbo c6 running 10.5 at like 130mph here so that thing as crazy.
you got all your stuff on I see as well? what kinda hp and tq you putting out, and your mod list?

My mod list...is long.

But basically its procharged, 10 psi, pi intake, 3.73s, long tubes,o/r pipe,tb/plenum..thats it for performance.

I never had it dynoed but I would imagine its making around 350 RWHP since I ran right next to a 5 speed/vortech GT making 360 to the wheels from a roll.


The NPI heads and cams kill power...with pi heads/cams I would probably be lookin at 400 rwhp.

Car went 12.8 at 113, street tires, 2.1 60 foot but it should have more in it.

I need to get back to the track.
