Going to the drag strip for the first time tonight, wish me luck! I am a little nervous about because I dont want to do really terrible or something embarrassing. I will let you guys know how it turns out though.

I can sympathise with that, last time i went to a run what u brung i gave it a miss. I can just see myself standing on the brake rather than the gas.

Don't do what I did.... Make sure you line up straight in the lights, lower the rear tire pressure to better traction. :help2:

Good news, I did not stage with my rear tires! I thought my times were bad but I will let you guys decide. The only thing I have done to the car is bassani cat back, 3:73 gears, and a steeda tri-ax shifter. I had Kumho Ecstas 285/40/17. My first time was absolutely horrible, it was a 16.374 @ 82.19 mph :-[. My second time was16.055 @ 90.03 mph. My third time was 15.807 @ 88.95 mph and a 0-60 of 2.488. I did constantly improve so that is good, but I could never really get a good launch down. I had lots of fun though and am glad I went! :banana:
