Car has been stuck on the same mileage and gas trip meter for 2+ years. Only reason i held off is because i wasn't paying $40 for 2 plastic gears. Over the years i havent found it cheaper whenever i looked till last week. Finally found them for $18 shipped so i took the plunge. Now im mad i didn't buy the LED light bulbs so i will be removing the cluster again next week to install the new LEDs

:laughing5: Kind of beats changing your oil whenever you feel like it because you dont know how many miles you drove. Otherwise i wouldn't care lol.
To be honest, i dont care about the miles on the actual car just i like to keep a car log on my phone when i do certain things to my car like fuel pump/filter/ oil change.. and well i need my mileage to work to do that so i can finally keep a accurate maintenance log on my car.

Mine has been broken for 3 or 4 years and I've been too cheap to fix it too, but I think I will now!

Having it fixed I figure would be good for tracking gas mileage and things like that. Distance traveled and all.
I have no idea how many miles are on the body of the car, transmission, or engine.

Exactly why I didn't fix mine before and exactly why I did now. 18 bucks is not bad. Looks to be the same as 40$ ones
