Okay, guys... I've got a 94 GT (mods in sig) with factory mufflers. My new found boost basically blew the innards of them to smithereens. Sooooooo, now I need to buy some new ones. I am pretty set on flows, but am trying to decide between super 44, super 40, and 40 series delta flow.
all opinions welcome. Thanks for your help on deciding :icon_salut:

1 Chamber Flowmasters are CRAZY loud.

The 40 Series is the most common/popular with Mustangs. I have 40 Series and it wakes my neighbors up in the morning when I leave for work..lol.

^same here, with my two chambers (at least thats what i believe they are)!
my neighbor had a brother staying with him and every day when they would eat breakfast and I would start my car his brother loved the sound and told me: "that's what a car should sound like."

Droptop...

I would look into the Dynomax Ultra-Flo. Have you heard them?

Flowmasters tent to rust out quicker than some other brands, I had them on my GT when I first got it. They don't sound bad but you sound like ever other 5.0 out there.

I have IMCO 1 chambered on mine right now. Have it dumped, & it sounds great! I was thinking about buying FM 40 series & try them on mine. If it sounded any less, I would give them to my friend w/'94 GT. I just like FM better. My '03 Cobra buddy put Super 44's on his. I didn't think it sounded as good as it should.

so if everybody has flows, what others are there that are good quality. I looked on bassani's website and it seems as if they don't make for the 5.0.

well, to give you guys a reference, I don't want something that sounds too open... I want it to be deep sounding and throaty, but not burblee. Lastly, I don't want it to sound like a stock 94 GT with a driver that thinks he's cool just because he threw an exhaust on it.

I went with Dynomax SS Ultra flo's. It sounds just a little louder then a stock GT. I also have a Catted H with 2 high flow cats. ( Inspection here in Va). I'll get an audio clip later when i get outside.

To be honest Flowmasters are the last thing most of us would suggest when it comes to exhaust. Magnaflow, Borla, Bassani, etc are IMO all better than Flowmasters. Bassani makes exhaust for 5.0s, i have one on my car :headbang:

Yeah, I've got bassani o/r x on mine, but I can't find mufflers for the 94, it says they only go back to 96.
