To be honest Flowmasters are the last thing most of us would suggest when it comes to exhaust. Magnaflow, Borla, Bassani, etc are IMO all better than Flowmasters. Bassani makes exhaust for 5.0s, i have one on my car :headbang:

Yeah, I've got bassani o/r x on mine, but I can't find mufflers for the 94, it says they only go back to 96.

96-97 catbacks are the same as 94/95 catbacks, in '98 they changed the hanger on the talipipe. I just looked on their website, they clearly have a 94/95 kit in the Aft-Cat section. Take another look.

I've had 7 diff exhaust set ups on mine. I love my dumps I am running right now the best! For what I had, FM 40 Series takes my #2. When I had my exhaust running out the back, that was the best!

I think the only thing about that mustangexhaust.com/ thing is it depends on if you have halfway decent speakers. I prob am thinking wrong, that's just the way I roll now!!

i love my long tubes, offroad hpipe, and original 40 series flows.

sounds pretty sexy, im modular of course but still. id say if you get flowmaster, go with 2 chamber original 40's. just me.

Sorry, aren't you recommending exactly what you will replace? Why would he get your 2nd's? I lost my train of thought during that.

im recommending it because thats one of his options and i mean there is nothing wrong with them except that i wanna go louder and the fact that almost evryone around here has them

for the rust issues on flows i went to walmart and got a rattle can of the 2000* bbq grill pant. its thick and cheaper than engine paint. it has lasted for almost a year and looks the same. the engine paint ive used on other parts has burned/flaked off almost instantly. i have 2 chamber flow catback. im content with the sound of it. i have bbk shortys/OR x-pipe/flows and its loud. neighbors know when i come home.

Painting Flowmasters does not help the fact that they rust from the inside out. Bassani mufflers have stainless steel internals, as probably does Magnaflow and SLP.

You should be running a straight through muffler w/ boost, not chambered crapmasters.
