Flywheel help

Today I pulled the transmission from my car to replace the worn out Centerforce clutch. Everything went smooth, but I have ran into a roadblock. The flywheel that is on my car, has the bolt on replaceable friction surface. There isn't a brand on the flywheel, there is a SFI sticker and one part number that I searched and couldnt find any info on. Does anyone know if the plates from other manufacturers may fit? The bolt pattern looks very similar among the various brands I looked up. They all look to be similar and standardized.

Went down to a place that builds clutches today, they had a hays center but unfortunately the bolt pattern isn't standardized. They could make me one for 150 or resurface the old one and the flywheel for 25. Safe to say, I went with the resurfacing. Figured while I was there I would just get them to build me a clutch kit also. Gonna be trying out a spec 4 pressure plate with a custom made disc running ceramic and Kevlar. Hopefully it works alot better than the old centerforce setup.

Of the two that were tried, a Hayes and a Crower, neither matched my bolt pattern even though the Hayes looked very similar. Havent had a chance to try a Spec unit or Fidanza. Didnt really want to have to ship one back if it didn't fit. I guess my next clutch replacement after this one, the flywheel be sporting a center for pulling trucks that doesn't come predrilled. I guess 150 isnt too bad considering they drill and champfer and mill the plate to match the surface height of the flywheel, and online ones are anywhere from 68 to 109 dollars. Looks as if the centers are pretty brand specific unfortunately.

have you called the manufacturers (spec, centerforce, etc.) to see if the #s matched?

Yeh i called a few of the big name suppliers and they had no such part numbers. That's the problem with buying a car that has been modified so much. Running part numbers such as the dart block to the trickflow heads to identify them suck. Vortech was probably the best Ive spoke to, they didnt take a minute to identify the supercharger.
