Forged rods in cobras

Do all 99 + cobras have forged internals? or just the Terminators? Just asking cause I am curious.

I know my 97 cobra is not setup with Forged internals.

the mach 1's have the 01 cobra engines, and still have the hypereutectics (sp?)

The Mach 1 engines arent exactly 01 cobra engines, there are some differences.

But yes, only the 03-04 Cobra's had the forged rods and pistons... but all years cobras 96-04 (and the 5 speed Mach 1's) did have a forged crankshaft.

yup, the machs have a much better head than the 01 cobra. well, maybe not much, but better nonetheless. as posted above though only the termies have the manley forged rods. you do have a forged crank though

03's have a forged crank. The only 4 valve that comes without a forged crank are the Mach1's with a auto trans, and the Lincolns.

and the marks possibly didnt have a forged crank? check out my busted head gasket repair, few posts down one states the differences of the engines in lincoln and marks.
