fox body verts! why the hate??

i seriously just want to know where folks are coming from with this. not trying to start a war but i never quite understood what thats all about lol. they're dubbed as being gay...girly...ugly...etc! why? anyone care to help me out here?

I have no clue. I met a guy at our local meet a few months ago. Black on black 89 Vert 5.0.. 306 ford racing crate motor, chrome cobra R's, black top, thing is ****in nasty. I don't like verts enough to own one, but his is pretty sick.

haha idk man. i think SN95s are hated more than fox verts though. you'd be surprised the amount of people that will be like, I never liked this body style mustang. me (in my head)- shut your ****ing piehole lol- me (out loud) yeah not too many people do, but i do lol.

never knew that anyone hated fox verts. I like the hatch back myself better but would rock a vert no problem.

now the sn hatred yea I have seen that. I can't understand it myself as I was 18 at the time the 94 came out and I still today think its a great looking style. I was surprised to hear one day that a friend of mine that is not much of a car dude said he hated them when they came out. Said that his friends called them "girls mustangs" because of the curves.... Idummp it was love at first sight for me.

Don't know about hate as ive owned two fox verts an 86 and 89. The 89 is still one of those I wished I never got rid of. I will have another in the future that im sure of.

Well I like other peoples, I just would never consider one for myself.

Mind you I live in Europe where everybody thinks American cars are HUGE so when they see the fox backend they get confused. And besides, the fox was designed to look like a European sportscar.

The reason I don't like the fox body verts is because the coupes look 100 times better.
However on SN95s and S197s the difference isn't that big.

One day i'll build a badass coupe lx.
