I had the passenger side of the car re-shot after a small ding last month and was told to wait 90 days before any wax or anything. I was wondering if you agreed, and if so then what should I do and when?

It depends on how the vehicle was refinished. IF the clear was baked then you can prob wax it 30-60 days. If not then just keep it clean and use a quick detailer on it. The reason they say to wait on waxing is because of the solvents in the clear coat are still coming out and if you "lock" them in with a true wax then you can get whats called solvent pop in the clear and look like turd.

if they say wait, then you should wait.
typically this is because the paint isn't fully cured until that time.
I'd give it at least a month.

once it is cured, hit it with a fine polish, then a sealer, and top it off with a good wax.

I was always told to wait at least 30 days but if they say more then do what they suggest. My uncle has a shop and he just tells his clients that are stressing to keep it clean and let it breathe.
