I wouldnt know either but I wouldnt think alot if you run a wet kit with the apropriate jetting, but with that much sqeeze i wouldnt know. If you dont mind me askin what kit are you gonna run, does your shortblock have stock internals, and how much are you gonna retard the timing? Oh and when you take it to the track with the bottle id love to see a vid of it launching and see some new times! :coolsmiley: curious what it will run?
and im hoping for mid 12s at my altitude... It will have videos for sure. I have 35+ track passes and videos of the car on you tube right now anyway...
Yea thats pretty bad azz to run all that on stock internals, and reading you sig explains it all lol. Id say mid to high 12s sounds about right since you shouldnt have any prob hookin up. With a 150 shot that car will be straight up nasty out of the hole :knuppel2: are you gonna run a secondary fuel supply?
eventually once i get this motor out of this car.... this is a temperary engine. i blew the other one up too soon...
Anyway the mini spool and the 31 splines are going to be ordered this week. Decided to cancel the order on the clutch pacs and just do it right and do it once.
If you ran a secondary fuel cell in the front with a fuel pump and all that to take care of your fuel side you prolly wouldnt have to run extra fuel pressure, and it will be easier on the motor. Anyway cant wait to see it run!!
yea i also dont have any extra money... i plan on a dedicated 2 gallon fuel cell just for the nitrous because i will be playing wiht 250+ shots next season hopefully...
Well definatly keep me up on how it goes for ya cuz im plannin on getting back into the nitrous thing start small then go big someday with some forged rods and pistons when I rebuild in the future so id like to see what the ole motor can do! I feel ya on the money thing :wall:
