Hey guys,

I got my 1000hp Glenns Performance fuel system about a week ago now and am basically ready to get this whole build wrapped up. Only thing I had a questions about was fuel press regulator. It is a Fuelab, model 51502 . It has a gauge port for 1/8" NPT . Now, I already have a fuel pressure gauge in my clock pod inside the car. Could I add just any old' fuel pressure gauge to this regulator for tuning purposes, or is there a special fpr gauge that I just haven't noticed yet? After reading the directions all that they mention about a gauge for this regulator...
" Use of a liquid filled gauge exposed to engine compartment heat is not recommended as the liquid inside the gauge may exert measurement errors. Do not plug gauge port to any gauge mounted inside the vehicle or in passenger compartment"

Thanks fellas

Well its a no brainer as to why they dont want a fuel pressure guage in the cockpit. If you really need a guage for tuning just mount it on the cowl. Once you have your pressure set you really dont need a guage.
