So I can get my hands on a Walbro gss317 255lph for cheap. Its supposed to fit a 96-97 cobra, but what reason would keep me from using it on my 94 gt? I know the only difference is the size of the inlet, but other than that any reason?

IIRC the GSS317 is not a high pressure unit. I believe it's intended to be used on systems without the return fuel line. You want the GSS340.

Sorry to bump, but it doesn't seem like it'll make a terribly huge difference since the car won't be seeing over 39psi for right now. From reading it seems the difference is when the pressure is around 50-60 psi.

What's the good price? The GSS340 runs about $100. I would be concerned with the regulator maintaining proper pressure to the injectors with a pump that's not delivering fuel at 70+ psi to the regulator.

its the gss317, I know its not on there, but I'm using the 255lph standard as the reference for it. It came in a 2000-2004 vortech kit and the guy is getting rid of it cheap. I've referenced the number and it seems that the gss317 is for 96-97 cobras. These also have a return style fuel system if I'm thinking right, which is what the 94-95's run correct? I'm willing to try it because I dont see an issue with it not having enough flow.
