fuel pump on 98 gt

i have a returnless fuel pump on my 98 gt.Does that mean i cant use a pump from 96-97 but can from a 99-2004?

are you sure its returnless? most 98gts ive seen are return style....

Yes, it's a mix matched sytem, you've got a variable voltage pump with a return style fuel system and you will burn an 87-97 style constant voltage pump up very quickly. So you need a new style pump. Before I new the focus and other pumps like that worked on the 98 systems I used the vortech pump specifically made for the 98s and it's worked fine for 2 years now.

ive read that i can also use a aviator and focus svt pump,From what years?I have a returnless fuel pump and returnstyle fuel system with the fpr welded to the passengerside fuel rail.My gt is a 10/98 build
Also i wonder why my oil fill is n the driverside

The oil fill is on the drivers side because its an early romeo motor and thats how they did it.
