Ok guys I had some problems with my fuel rails, so I bought the trick flow/ aeromotive fuel rail adapter kit. I just wondering how you all had it set up? Where did you mount your FPR? Thanks for the help and if you have any pics of this please feel free to post them!

I know how to set up fuel systems. As long as you're not running big power, you'll be fine with a single feed in to one rail, crossover at front, fuel pressure regulator at the back of the other rail, or remote mounted. Other port on FRP is blocked, and return comes from the bottom.

Got a link to what you bought?

Out of curiosity, what problems were you having with your fuel rails? I've never heard of a problem with the OEM rails.

If you have air in the system (which would only happen when priming the fuel system for the first time or if you ran the tank totally dry) you can "bleed" it very easily with the schraeder valve. Otherwise, that's not really possible.

i was under the impression that when mounting fuel parts you can't peirce the firewall and it has to be at least 6" in front of the flywheel/flex plate (my 2011 NHRA rulebook is at the shop, so i cant check) anyone else have the rulebook handy?? Just worried that the FPR at the back of one of the fuel rails will be too close to the flywheel, thats all...

edit: grammer polise.

That's true Chris your right on my fox I mounted it on the fire wall knowing its not legal Cus it's just for the street. But you for sure right it has to be infront of the flywheel. Shock towers fender apron or somewhere .

i mounted mine in front of the radiator support. because my engine bay is out of room....

anyone have a rule book.... i hate to go off memory.... but:

all fuel lines must be mounted inside the frame (although mine arent... shhhhhh)
any fuel line that passes over the supercharger belt must be protected with a metal plate (xx" thick), or must be braided SS (one reason i kept my blower cover)
FPR must be mounted on opposite side of engine bay as the flywheel/flexplate in a FWD vehicle.

Didn't know that Chris. Of course, I've never built a car to NHRA spec either because mine are all streetcars. I've run at the track with no issues, but of course I'm not running 9s either...
