Fuel tank Question

Ok I have a 95 GT, Went to fill up because I was under a 1/4 of a tank. I had about 135 miles since I filled up ( The car has Mods LOL) anyway, When I toped it off it only took 8 Gal. I thought my tank was 15.4. So it would mean I still have a Half tanl Left. Anyone eles ever have have this issue. I was thinking maybe fuel float. It did come with an after market Face Gauges.

Where does the needle point when you fill it up. Under full or past full

Our tanks are 15.8 gals. but the gauges are notoriously inaccurate. Could be that you are developing a sending unit or float problem. I'd watch it for a few tanks & watch my miles pretty close to see how they correlate. Is this different than normal action?

Mine goes past Full hangs there forever then drops like a rock! Especially fast the last 1.3 of a tank. Watch those miles!

cool, it points right at full when i fill up. maybe I need to add some more in, I just wait for the pump to click off and pay LOL. Ill try to get alittle more in when I fill up next.
