Hey guys, im just wondering if Mr. Gasket makes an "ultra seal" header gasket, for a non stock port like twisted wedge. If not, can i trim the gaskets to fit?...they dont look like they have much meat on em..especially close to the bolt holes.

I mean the port size on my TW heads are 1.25"W x 1.50"H. The port size on the gasket is 1.12"W x 1.48"H. Would trimming .13" off the sides of each port compromize the gasket?

If so, how has anyone's experience with felpro 1415 been?

Thanks,

Nick

i think you'll be safe to trim the gasket. just so long as it doesn't get to close to the bolt holes that's basically like port matching anyway

I've had good luck with 1415's, but heard good things about the ultra-seals, and I don't think trimming .065" off each side of the gasket will hurt anything.
