I'm in the same boat, how do you get those faces off?
Debating going blue, actually... makes it easier to match accessories and that means just changing the HVAC bulbs to white.

Did it, sooo easy after you know what's up. Just pull the control knobs right off, and unbolt the HVAC assembly. Then pry up the plastic tabs that keep the black face on. Its really really hard, but keep at it. Then carefully cut off the black plastic rivets holding this clear stuff on and cut off the diffusion tape inside (super easy). Then reassemble and snap back into place. Before you remount with the bolts just pull out the two lights on the rear of the unit and replace with red bulbs. Golden! I freaking love it and will be keeping the red for sure. Definitely finishes the interior.

I think it's a mod when done really changes the interior of the car and make's it look so much better props to you guys for doing it.
