gay thing happened today

well actually it happened yesterday, my car was overheating and i didnt know why so i pulled over and smoke was coming from under the hood so i popped it and smokin hot antifrieze was coming from under the cap. so i thought it was a problem with the cap so i replaced the cap and filled it back up with coolant. didnt drive it til this morning and the same thing happened again, so this time i knew it had to be the thermostat so i replaced that and filled it up with coolant again, drove it later and it overheated again so this time i popped the hoop with the engine running and i noticed the fan wasnt coming on. that is so gay

Lemme tell you about ford fans... ...and just how "queer" they can be...

I was driving my husbans 97 thunderbird once (same 3.8 engine as the v6 mustangs) the fan not only stopped working but caught on fire! My 3.8 mustang, just up and decided that is didnt want to be two speed any more, so it would work, but only with the lower speed. Then my v8 fan... ...well, actually, Im pretty sure its the same fan, as its the same car, and after replacing it with a new one, I wasnt going to get another... ...well it just wont turn on at all... ..instead the fan is constantly on, even if the car is on, but engine not running.

So you filled it up twice with coolant and didnt once let it run long enough for the fans to turn on?

Dare I ask how you would get air out of the system without running it long enough?

yea i go up to freedom everynow and then, and ive seen your car at genros before too.

when the antifrieze came out it was just enough to empty the reservoir so i didnt have to worry about an air bubble

My husband keeps telling me that all cars are female. But if they were than not only is my car a lesbien, but one of those feminist man hating ones... ...My car doesnt even wear a bra!!!

I would say that its male though. Like a guy, my cars exhaust is obnoxiously loud and never tries to hide it. Plus the voice module in the security system is a males voice. I guess my cars "gay" because not only does the fan have issues but because, like you said, its clean and in great shape.
