Looking to buy the 3.73 Gears Kit from you guys. I have an automatic 1995 Mustang GT with the stock 2.73 gears. Want to upgrade to 3.73s but was told the speedo will be off by 5-7% or something like that.. What else will I need to make the speedo accurate? Speedo gear / drive gear? I'll be getting the following
Ford Racing 3.73 Gears
Ford Racing Friction Modifier
What gear oil do I need? All i see is for manual trannys on your site. Need help to clear up my confusion lol, thanks!

On the topic of gears, I have a t5 with 3.90 gears. I have yet to find a place with the correct speedo gear. Previous owner installed them, didn't change the speedo gear

I don't have a speedo gear for the 3.90 gears. Its going to have to be a 3.73 or 4.10 speedo gear unfortunately.

The gears that were in it prior to being swapped were 4.10. It's about 10 off til you hit 45 in actual speed, then it's ~15-20 off. Sound like it has one of those speedo gears, or does that sound like the gear is still stock?

Yeah but that says T5, for the speedo correction. I have the AODE.

Sorry, I read your first post as your car being a T5. It was to early in the morning on a Monday for me to be thinking. lol. I dont have a speedo gear that will work for a 95 auto car that has 3.73's. You will have to use this.

It could have a gear in it. Its hard to say though. For a 3.90 gear, you could run the FRPP adjuster that I linked the5.ohh too.
