I've been a big Mustang fan for quite awhile now. I may be addicted. I have a silver 95 that is just for parts now. 330,000kms and she gave up the go. Actually still ran great but the gas tank, fuel lines, etc all started to go at the same time. Then a coolant leak so it stayed off the road. Picked up another 95 6cyl for my girlfriend. Now just recently I finally graduated to a much needed GT. ANother 95 of course. Black with red/black interior. It was bone stock. Not even an exhaust on it. The guy took care of it but never really detailed it or anything. Now its mine. Got it for $2600 Canadian(so like $500USD)LOL It is solid which is why I picked it up. I'm a detailer so it was a perfect project cause it just needed a really good cleaning. Just needs a windshield and mufflers for safety. I picked up a BBK catted H pipe for $100Can, Flowmaster cat back for $100. Already have stainless Cobra tips. I just put my Cobra front cover on it, brand new OEM headlights, I just picked up a Cervini cowl hood yesterday so it will be getting paint and get put on shortly. I'm thinking Anthrecite Bullitt DD's but for now I've got 15x10 and 3.5 Weld Draglites for it. I'm really looking forward to hitting some cruise nights with it this summer. Here are a couple before pics. I'll have more up as soon as I get my camera back.

Re: New to the board

Let me also say....this site rocks. All the other websites I'm on are a pain in the A$$. Its difficult if not impossible to upload pics. They usually have to be so small you can't make anything out. This was quick and easy. I like it!!!

You wouldn't happen to have a good pair of horizontal tails from the partscar, would you?

nice car bro. thats a good start. what mods you have in mind?

I think for now it will be appearance mods then maybe next winter I'll start getting the go fast goodies. I think I'll find a clean block and go from there. I shoot for a drag racing website so I have lots of connections. I'm hoping all the favors I do for people haven't gone unnoticed, so when I come a knockin they will be willing to help me out. One mod that I want to do in the future(probably very distant future) would be a blower. I want the loud, obnoxious whistle and jingle of a killer blown set up.

They're not bad. I seem to remember polishing the tails and having some of the silver paint rub off and across the red lens. It's literally 25 feeet away from me but its dark and cold out so I'll check in the morning. Where are you located and I'll get a price on shipping.

Re: New to the board

Here's a couple quick shots from today. New headlights and freshly painted brand new(last in Canada from Ford) Cobra cover. Was suppose to get my hood tonight but my brother-inlaws truck has no brakes and I mean nooooooooooo brakes. Got it to work today and coasted by. Brake fluid, she's a gone. So we'll see about getting the hood Saturday. Mmmmmmmm Cervini cowl hood.LOL After the hood I'm going to get Saleen side skirts and then find a Corba trunklid. Not sure if they made Cobra's without a spoiler. I've got a trunklid in the basement but its got a spoiler and its the Mystic paint. Don't want to wreck it by having it painted. Can't decide if I want to sell this stuff or just wait and find a wrecked Mystic Cobra and use it on it. I've got trunklid, pass door, both fenders, rear bumper cover with chrome letter inserts and taillights. I had a hood but sold it, way too many chips to be useable. Same with the front cover. It was in really rough shape so I had it painted for my silver 95.

Re: New to the board

Took those last couple pics with my old worn out digital camera. Got out my big guns today and took a couple more. I've got OEM fog lights but they are dull and kinda yellowed a bit. I seem to remember reading somewhere that the Cobra R didn't have fogs. It had ducts that cool the brakes instead?!?!? I think it will look cleaner with fogs. Can't get them from Ford so I may buy aftermarket, I may polish what I have, or I also thought about misting that translucent black paint on them(just like the cool kids do)LOL. Not sure about that though. I don't want to have people wonder WTF was he thinking, while I'm pulling it into a cruise night.LOL
Didn't get my hood yet. Its paid for just no way of picking it up. Next week I'm going to take my Draglites in and polish them and get some pics of them on the car. Come on Spring!!!!!!!! Winter sucks!!!!!!

I love the look of the Stangs without a spoiler. My silver 95 didn't have one. I loved that car. Wish it didn't fall apart. 95 6cyl, 330,000kms, Bullitt GT rims, Cobra front cover. Its a shame. Its at the side of my house on stands. Well, it was on stands. Didn't think the ground would thaw so quickly. It fell over.LOL I just wish it fell into my neighbours yard so he could get rid of it.LOL
This was it in its hay day(2005). Beside mine, Danny Bliers wheelstanding OSCA EZ Street car.
