:headbang:

one of these days, after i find a set of longtubes i'm going to start my headswap..

i'm going to use vt stage 2 cams and comp springs.. but i've had tons and tons of mixed feedback on these cams.

can i mark my chains and install these cams that way, or will i have some sort of a issue?

and i wanna set a mark for people that are curious about vt cams in piswapped cars, because i've never seen a car with it done, so i was going to do a before and after dyno also

id suggest just using the TDC timing marks... persoanlly. and the gold link on your timing chain.

Yeah i was just going to mark the chains and match them back up perfectally and go from there.

i was also going to turn it by hand to see if anything touched, but i really don't think anything will.

Mine is coming together this weekend, PI haeds, Comp 274's, PI intake, LT's, and UD's.

heads are assembled minus cams with comp springs, and i have all this little stuff too, lokar dipstick, Stage 8 bolts, arp head studs, etc...

my baseline dyno for my car stock auto with a canned tune was 204 hp, 279 tq. 1998 gt.

I will be doing all the installing myself, and degree'ing the cams, then have it taken to be dyno'd and tuned after a couple hundred break in miles for the heads and cams. and im going to post the best write up with pics i can make, and before / after numbers and times.

yeah, all ready put the comp beehives in the heads. But my heads are stock, just cleaned up and hot - tanked.

no valve job, port work or anything. Just a PI swap with bigger cams.
