I currently have $800 and will have about $2000 in a month. Once I have this money, what should I do?

Option A: Buy something like this: http://tampa.craigslist.org/hil/cto/1814638228.html, and park the GT during the week, saving the car from the horrors of daily driving and saving money on gas.

Option B: Buy all the parts needed to get the blower on, and continue to put the car through the daily driving routine.

buy the notch dd and slowly build your other car up with the savings in fuel alone.

Exactly. DD the notch, finish fixing up the SN95. When you're down with the Snive, look, you've already got another project car haha

Quick question which would u rather have 4.10 gears or 3.73 cause I've got 4.10s but I've been told 3.73 better

I would buy a different, and possibly cheaper Beater to DD. The foxes have problems of their own, you don't want to buy a Fox to DD to try and
save money, and then have to spend that savings on keeping the fox going.. I bought a 94 Protege almost 2 years ago, and with less that $1,200
into the car (including purchase price), I have saved a crazy amount of money on gas, while cruisin at 29MPG. :icon_rr:

I am going to go with Option A. That's my goal, as I want to replace my winter beater before I get any deeper into performance mods that affect my car's everyday driveability even more(going lower, eventual boost etc) So I plan on saving around $6000, try and dump my old exploder for about $1000 and get a cheap 2001-2007 escape V6 to beat around in most days. I would get a newer focus, but winters here are harsh and focus' are terrible in the snow.

Thanks for all the replies!

I'm leaning towards just building the car, for the sole reason that we have a 98 Expedition that no one drives. My parents told me I could park the car and daily the truck.

I think this is the best thing to do because then I don't have to pay insurance on another car, and we don't have any room for another vehicle anyways lol.

well from a personal experience ive been doing option b for 3 years, and im making it work. but if i didnt have to be conservative with my mustang being the daily driver too i would have the mods that i have alot sooner. just something to think about.
