ok so i have a chance to buy a 1979 351 block It has been tank tested, cleaned, all new freeze plugs notched and was bored .60 over , i was wondering if this is a guild building block to start with ? i have a 95 stock GT and want to build a motor to drop in it (dont want the car down to long) how much would be to much to pay for this ? also again is it a good base to start with , i plan on trying to make around 500+ .
i guess my main question is on the .060 over , most pistons i see are around .040 over.
ok so found out a few more things about the block a little bit ago , the work on it was dont a little over a year ago still has all recipts , it has been wrapped and siliconed since , lemmi know guys (and yes i know im a noob for not knowing these things alrdy.
