got 1500 to spend what to get?

my car is basically stock for except built trans, and x pipe with flowmasters. I know about the pi swap but i was thinking of just getting aftermarret cams and intake and not changing the heads to keep compression down and maybe just get the NPI geads ported and polished incase i want to supercharge later. tell me what to get. oh gears is already on the list, but what cams and intake? this is a daily driven car so nothing real radical, what bolt ons ie (CAI, UDP'S etc) r worth it. And im getting shorty headers but what ive seen some from bbk that say tuned shorty headers, what the diff from normal headers?

Well if you have a built tranny already, get some pistons and rods, and then you can do both PI swap and S/C :thumb:
You can do 75 throttle w/plenum, pulleys, CAI as for bolt on's. Headers, get long tubes, shorties don't do much (maybe even nothing)
For the intake, PI intake would work nicely. Cams, well heres the problem, if you stay with the non-pi heads, 262ah (maybe 270ah). Remember the non-pi heads are awful in air flow, compared to the PI. If you do get them ported, get the 270ah, PI intake, LT's adn the bolt on's on on top. You'll feel the difference right away :dancing6:

OKAY SCREW THIS no bolt on crap, okay if i wanted all aftermarket pi stuff what should i get, ignore the 1500 cause i can wait awhile if need be. Im gonna get the livernois intake kit so i gonna bs with finding all the other stuff but r there any aftermarket pi heads that r worth the money and what cams should i get? someone fill me in. ive seen patriot heads but always heard they were crap as far as 5.0s were concerned. some give me a list.

Normal-schmormal PI heads (P&P them if you want)

CMS=Cushman Motorsports (The same guy that designed "VT's" cams). There are a few; Crower, PI, CMS, etc.

270ah Comp cams for the non-pi heads
274ah Comp cams for the pi heads

PS: bolt on's do work, but you will need a tune if you want to feel their true power gains. If they don't work then I don't know were the heck I got 38rwhp with pulleys cai timing adjuster and P&P throttle/plenum+ a tune

Comps are good cams. CMS and Crower are the best OTS cams.

Going to dissagree. Every car has a different requirement. Some cams do well others dont. I personally love my 270s. I just drove it for the first time today. and wholly shit it almost broke my slicks loose at 3500 RPM.

Comps are good cams. CMS and Crower are the best OTS cams.
