I have a 1998 GT with a DSS PRO MOD long block. PI heads, PI intake, BBK shorty headers, BBK X-pipe with out cats, SLP Loud mouth 2 catback, and a JLT TRUE COLD AIR KIT, and soon to come 1.5 lower'n springs 373's carbon drive shart 31spline axels, 18/9 up front and 18/10.5 in the back for rims. a BBK 75mm throtel body and a 85mm BBK intake plenum. pluss a Diablo Sport tuner.

Do thing all of this will take my budys WS6 with an LT1 the only thing he has done is a catback. i want to take him all he talks about is how his 350 POS will take my small ass 281. i want to shut his ass up :icon_rr:. will this work, and what et do you think i will run. OIh the car ran a 15.1 @ 91.5 all stock. i just want some imput. thanks guys for the help

no PI cams yet. i dont DDS put them in when they made it for me. how much of a gain are the PI cams?

if you can hook up i think you got it... i have a buddy with an lt1 its pretty quick but not all to impressive and he has a few bolt ons and exaust

if its a 6-speed he will walk you, if you had Gear, L/T headers, and Cams you got him but with the mods you have he will beat you. Not trying to be mean.

those WS's are CRAZY... i got completely and totally owned by one with just intake and exhaust...

Id think you'd need some more than what you have. I personally suggest new cams (if you dont have PI) and a professional tune. see what that gets you.

No the ws6 is wheels,tires,ram air hood,brakes,suspension,exhaust and air intake because there usually 10-15 higher horse power ratings at least in the ls1 cars anyway

its an LT1 though not the LS1 model, go ahead mod up a kick his ass. They'll do around a low 14 to a high 13 stock more or less i think.

Dont forget to tell him that even with you being modded he still has 50+ horses on you, and you still beat him.

im fairly confident you'll win with a full PI swap, a tune, and a set of gears.

i have a Friend with one with full exhaust and its fast, but he'd get stomped if we ever ran.

If the guy can drive at all, the car is in good mechanical condition and the car hooks he's going to put it on you. The auto's are even faster, especially w/ a stall. Just a cold air kit and a vigi convertor will throw one well into the 13's on good tires.
