i finally got my h/c/i swap done and when i started it it now has white smoke. could that be from the antiseize and the gasket sealer? thats what i'm hoping it is, but i shut it off becuase i didn't wnat to do anything...
White smoke is condensation, it could be other things, is your water level ok, and is it going up or down?
It could just be some condensation, or are we taliking billowing clouds?
well, the smoke is coming from the header where it connects to the head. It smells like its burning, so i was thinking maybe it could be the antifreeze? I couldn't get a good video cause not enough was comming out.
well, i checked most of the plugs and there wasn't any water coming out, nor was there any water on the threads of them. I really wish that video could show you what i mean, but here is pic of where the white smoke is coming from. its hard to see, but its boxed in red. just where the headers connect. i'm going to go ahead and change the oil since there may have been a little antifreeze get in there when i took the lower off.
