The ripples just look stylish, on the second pic you can see they dont go all the way through.
Sick hood btw

ah gotcha. were they functional on factory cobra Rs? I like the way they look for sure, im just curious if ford put any thought into them other than a mean looking car.

I know the 00 cobra R front wing and rear wing (on a 00 Cobra R) is exactly balanced out on the car at 100 MPH

Yeah they are only stylish for now.. Thinkin about changin that up... the back of the hood does have vents too.

The difference between v1 and v2 is that v1 is 2inches I think and V2 is 3.5...needless to say if got the V2

I wanna say they were functional because the intake was right there, but I'm not completely positive. It's hard to tell from pictures.

How do you "Test" out a hood. You don't test drive it, nor does it make the car any faster.. lol.

You could always fit test it...make sure everything lines up^^

I know, just the way he said it I find it funny. I've done quite a bit of body work, not something I wish I could say, I hate it. But I've painted a couple cars and all myself. Painted V as well.

Thanks. Yes, thats V. I used to call it that for the longest time, and that was my screen name but I changed it a while ago. Before both of you joined actually. Yes, 17's 10.5. I bought one of the first sets 50 resto got in stock. I'm happy with them. Regardless alot of people still run 03's 95 R's 98's etc. These are still a little fresh and different. Just take your time with the body work. No sense in rushing it.

Sure buddy. Problem with body work is its alot of having to feel it rather then look at it.I missed some dents/dings on the car. But its about to be put away from daily driver status, so i'm stripping it, putting a better hood on it, and bumpers side skirts etc. Redo it all allllll over again.
