My car has recently started making some griding noises. One is when you start the car you get a loud griding noise, but only some of the time. It sounds like try to touch a peice of metal to another peice of metal that is spinning. Im guessing its my starter soilinoid going out but what do you guys think? And the other griding noise is coming from the transmission, but again its only some of the time and its in every gear, pitch changes a little with speed but not much. I changed my fluid but didnt help. Its got a new clutch, pressure plate, pilot bearing, and throwout bearing about 7k miles ago but no noise untill now. Also might help that the noise didnt start untill I lowered my car, any suggestions or is my tranny just about ready to start collecting social security?
