grill for 95 mustang

i got my girlfriend a grill for her stang, and little did we know, we need something to make the hood latch work.... we ordered something we thought was it, but ended up being the exact same thing that was on the car... so shes returning that, and im asking for help here if anyone knows what it is that we need.

i assume you bought the Ford stock honeycomb grille that was on 96 mustangs?

they require 96-98 style latches
