It's REALLY easy to replace, especially if you take off the wheel. I'm not sure but I might have a spare CCRM laying around in the garage.

Let me know.

well me and my grandpa just went outside and decided to check things one last time before he takes it to the dealership in the a.m. cranked her up, turned the a/c to MAX and the fan came on and stayed on. if i turned the a/c back off but left the car running the fan would continue to run. but if i turned the car and a/c off and cranked the car again the fan wouldnt run until i turned the fan to MAX. so me and my grandpa are thinking that something is up with the CCRM and its acting up. so i guess ill see what the dealership says tomorrow when i get off from work and speak with my grandpa. hopefully a CCRM isnt TOO expensive. to install on is it simple: unplug old one and plug in new one? that way i dont pay someone $100 to take a tire off and plug something easy in. thanks guys for the help so far, keep it coming. GREENSCOBIE86, how much would u sell ur spare CCRM if u have it? jw man thanks

yes droptop it controls the fan, fuel pump, and a/c clutch. OP the ccrm is not cheap..I wired a toggle switch to my fan, and will be rebulding the ccrm.

ok guys.... so i just got home from work and talked to my grandpa about what the dealership said and theyve had it hooked up all day and its working fine now just like it did yesterday for a while! said its not throwing codes or anything other than from when i did the IAC restrictor plate a while back. they guess maybe it had gotten a little air in the system and it got into the engine instead of the coolant and caused it to get hot. i guess when we shocked the fan the other day with the wire run straight from the battery it cured my baby's "hiccup." but hopefully this will be the only one she ever has like this. thanks guys for all the help and info

a little late...but here is my $.02

check the connection to the fan. i replaced the radiator on mine with one out of a cobra and left the connection loose, and while it was making contact, it was also overheating the connector and eventually melted thru it. car finally started to over heat and likewise the fan wasnt turning on, even with the a/c. wiggled the connection and they came right on. took me about a month of having intermitten overheating issues to finally check the plug and realize it was melted. ordered a new pigtail from ford and havent had issues since.

I know on SVT's the ccrm is year specific, i don't know about other models. Just make sure you get the correct year ccrm for your vehicle.
