Hey everybody.

Just thought id share what I just finished...
I got my .030 milled GT40's (200 dollar in em total), mac emission legal shorties(fitment sux), and 1.6 motorsport rockers all on the 5.0. I blew a headgasket and thought id take the heads off the shelf and get some use out of them.

Just a few tidbits...
The rockers fit nicely under the stock valve covers. There are two areas (in the upper corners) that I had to buldge outward with a ballpeen tho.
And they have different spark plugs. It suprised me for some reason.

Anyway, the thing runs beast. Very crisp revving, must be that little bit of compression. Louder and more violent sounding :tongue3:. (and I have a dead #3 hole for some reason, but its cooling off now...)

Im wondering whats next guys, Im pretty sure I need at least an explorer intake, or something better?
Im buying a A9L and harness very soon and heard that is the cats a$$ for these cars, but Ill be required to do a trans swap too.

I have a spare SN T5, driveshaft, and shifter (do I need a crossmember?) I know I need a pedal assembly, flywheel, clutch, release system, ect...

Anyway, Induction or driveline/comptuer? What would you suggest? (im talkng bang for the buck)

Thanks. Oliver R.

Edit-I have an X cam lying around, but I know its waaay too big for this car. I wouldnt mind finding a cam when I do the intake...

Really depends what you want...i enjoy shifting more than having more horsepower, so i'd go with that route. an explorer intake is cheaper, but with the intake if you did a cam swap, you would probably want a new set of springs for the heads. that will probably even them out, so really which ever you want to do!

also, I would not do an x-cam, you are right, too big for your combo! if alphabet, i'd go with e-303, but I'd probably go with a trickflow stage one cam, and I'm pretty sure trickflow also has a kit for the springs too!

E cam? I can trade off my X303 for one?

Thanks
