Gt40p business

Jus a quick question...I have a 99 explorer 5.0( bottom end is THRASHED) but heads are perfect. I know i need to get better valve springs blah blah. but question is.. CAN i use the explorer exhaust manifolds on my car when i change the heads to the gt40ps? at least until i can afford some "p" specific headers for my stang? Like, will the headers bolt to my bbk offroad xpipe i have now?

Those manifolds are the worst thing ever designed by ford. Hop on ebay, and find the ceramic coated headers from KMJ I think. I picked those up to test fit on some P heads and they fit pretty well. One plug could use a bit more clearance, but other than that one its a good fit. Im going to drop them in my car this weekend, and Ill know exactly how well they clear everything then. They were only $149 too. 1 5/8" primaries too.

Look over on Corral you will find some headers that will fit P's. I know a FRPP header will fit all the E7 GT40 and GT40P's

subscribing, i also have a gt40p engine going in a 95 and would like some headers.

they wont fit, your best bet is some used gt40p specific shorties

The collector is probably not going to reach the H-Pipe.

Your gonna have to buy some headers dude.

just get mac lt well worth the money
