GT500 at Monticello

Had my fathers GT500 on the track on tuesday (my birthday 23...) This is the only pic I have right now, I'm waiting for the guy to send some more. I have a video as well but for some reason youtube wont let me upload (no it's not to large) If I ever figure it out i will post a link for it. I'm driving my dad is riding shotgun. yes that is a real 66 GT350 hertz car behind me.

Nice! I have driven a 2010 GT500 around the lot at work, they are SOOOO nice, but sooo dam heavy lol. Nice car though man, I'm a sucker for any SVT car basically .

^ about the herts cars i saw something the other day i think there was like 800 black/gold and 50 blue/gold, red/gold, green/gold and some other colors. someone else prolly remembers the post

thanks guys, yeah the hertz cars were not all black and gold although there was a black and gold one there. This particular car is pretty rare, it's an original stripe delete car, I'll take some more pics of my pops gt500, maybe next to my sn95 and 66 coupe when the weather is nice and all the horses are at my house (my 66 is currently at my grandparents) I'm still trying to get the video on youtube... I hate computers some times

little more info on the GT500, It's got the 40th anniversary package on it from Shelby, my dad shipped it to las vagas to have the conversion done and we drove it back to NJ. I did a digital story about the trip maybe I'll post it up here. We put the original wheels back on it so we didn't kill the new tires. It's got fully adjustable Eibach suspension, borla exhaust, carbon fiber splitter and skirts, FR cold air, and usually is rocking 20' razors with P-zeros
