Hrm... Maybe I just did not look hard enough. :crazy2: Ill take a peek at it to see where the other holes are.

I remember the stock wire was red and had a 90 degree end on it. im pretty sure that does not control the fan.
In regards to that, mine had a plug sensor in it with two wires. A black and a Red. In my own little head, i thought the red was the one that sent the voltage and the black was a ground that when the engine read to a certain point it would ground out and then send the fan on. Hence the reason when I took it out, the black wire would never have been grounded.

Isnt there only one sensor there? Its right by the drivers side fuel rail in the lower manifold..... Thats the one I removed...
Thats the one for the gauge...Yes. THe one for the ECU is on the passenger side where the two black heater hoses go. You should have been fine. Is your lower stock or has someone else messed with the sensor locations? If you have a fox lower for whatever reason...the original installer may have hooked it up to his own liking. Like paul said though, there is more than one spot on the lower you can put the autometer sending unit. Just relocate it and ride out! No big deal man....don't stress.
The lower is stock but what I was reffering to was that I could not find the holes on my lower, but when we peaked at a fox stock lower we saw the holes.
