take to a dyno and have him give you the info you need? How is that cheaper, they don't just give that stuff out? Car drives pretty well right now. no check engine lights, temp and pressures are all normal and with the exception of occasional bucking in 5th gear under 1500 rpms its flawless. Idle is a tad high at around 900 but it idles nicely and has a nice lope to it. Doesn't feel like it has much more then it did before but that is where the dyno will work for me. most people pick up more then 15 hp from what I have heard or they would not be willing to pay what it costs. Beyond that you have the reassurance that it was measured in real time at your location to ensure it is working properly. I guess you can play with the tune until its perfect and that sounds all nice and easy, but you have never pulled the computer down and got into the chip yet have ya? I do not want to do that anymore then I need too its more of a pia then I want to do regularly. I know I know nothing about tuning, afr's and all the little details that is needed to get the tune correct. I am technical enough that I know I can learn it but I would rather not learn(often from our mistakes) on my own vehicle with out anyone around me to help dig me out of any hole I should get myself into thinking that I suddenly know how to tune my computer.
