the heads were opened up a lot and look amazing a good friend of mine owns a machine shop and he even said the port work was perfect...

I wouldn't expect to hear its not ported. I ported the my cobra intake and was suprised how much I had to take off to gasket match them on the runners and alaws wondered what a difference it made.

Are you going to dyno it as I am curious to see what the difference in our numbers are.

Ya I'm going to get it done in 2 weeks ...

I installed the Moate chip last night and the car pulls harder then it ever has seriously ... It makes my 305 rear tires break loose in first and second its amazing i love it ...

Also great job on your mustang stereo build ... Were are you located I'm going to MECA state finals next week and cant wait ...Are the kick panels sealed up or ported? Also do you have a processor ?

Hey genius, it's quite obvious you have no practical knowledge of the way an engine works. You have a thread that is 9 pages long and the answer to your question was answered in the first post but yet you carry on dragging the issue out.

Now, since we already proved your an idiot, this is why your port work probably did nothing for you. Pull out your notebook because this is gonna be a tough one. You are using a big head and choking it with a small intake manifold...using ported out wedge heads with a smaller manifold is choking your engine, not helping it.

The deal is the flow of the overall intake "tract" and NOT just the heads. When people use a huge head like the AFR205/225 or High Port but then bolt up a Holley SM2 on their 347 engine etc. they are now wasting their time (like you) talking about big flow numbers since the overall intake *tract* has been limited by their intake choice.

Take your wedge heads and add in a ported EFI Victor Jr (carb style) and the best 90 degree elbow you can find and guess what? The overall flow from throttle body to intake valve is better than the ported out wedge heads and the track heat. Most people just don't get it, like you. Like the guys who still can't figure out why Tim Flander's 408 stroker with a stock Twisted Wedge head can run in the 10 teens all day long. Everyone is saying port the snot out of them but people fail to realize that you can make a small block windsor run faster than a lot of the small block Ford *internet heros* high dollar engines.

Look dude you can say what you want but porting any head is going to help flow more air ..

There were multiple little problems to getting the car making the power i wanted ... Also there are lots of people that are going to read this post and get good info off of it ...

Its funny you said probably did nothing lol lol I think we both know porting my heads is only going to help ..

well we will be able to prove/disprove all this when we put our on the dyno and put this puppy to bed. I have an 90 mm maf, anderson powere pipe and a ported cobra intake on mine, but completely untouched heads and the same one he has. If I make more power then him then its either the bigger intake, or it could be the mail order tune but if we take the tunes as being equal then we should be ok. I should just have my tuner burn my other chip with the same tune and we could even check the differences in the tune on your car.

No reason for anyone to get all bent out of shape and start callin names. He is new to this as am I as are alot of others here and of course taking advise from the net as thought is scripture isn't all that great of an idea all the time, but once its on the dyno we will know.

lets remember that we are all here for the same reason. If you know more and want to share it then great have at it but I am not sure how you expect him to react to a post like that? How would you react if somene on here that knows more then you was like that to you?

You were ignorant dude..if you didn't mean to be than so be it but in my opinion, you came across ignorant. ttocs setup depending on the humidity should put down 300ish. The torque curve with the cobra intake is gonna be really nice also.

The Cobra/GT40 Tubular intakes are torque monsters which is what you want with these heavy SN95's.

Dude, LAFENATU is right. You are choking the engine by using "ported" heads with a smaller intake.

And he is probably talking shit as he has the knowledge and car to back his shit up.

He said me porting my heads was worthless and i called bull shit. He might know his shit and i understand what he is trying to say but no matter what ported heads are always better PERIOD ..

Also my Intake is ported and gasket matched to 1262 gaskets ... And ya you could always have a bigger intake and bigger cam and make more power it just cost money..



What kind of power does your comp make ?
