I can't imagine the ****ed up train of thought that led to you thinking that was a good idea. Thankfully it was just a broke dick V6 car.

I used to work 8 hrs 3rd shift security then immediately worked 8 hrs on 1st shift warehouse work back when I was young, did it for years and still never ended up asleep at the wheel

Make all the excuses you want, bottom line is it's you though

I used to work a swing shift (combination of 2nd and 3rd shift) at the GE factory in Fort Wayne. I would either go in to work at 11 PM, get off at 7 AM, then go to class from 8 AM until 2 PM, then go home for while and go back in to work.... or.... I would go to class at 8 AM, get out at 2 PM and go to work at GE from 3 PM to 11 PM, then go home and come back... all the while, I was dealing with time changes as I was living in Ohio, which is on Eastern time and Indiana (before we switched to DST) on Central time .... AND driving 45 minutes one way twice per day between Van Wert and Fort Wayne. I averaged 4 to 5 hours of sleep and did this for a LONG time while I was in school. Never once did I crash my car, but it did cost me a relationship.

I worked similar hours my whole way through school
