I posted a WTB add on corral for 03 cobra rims. Well i get a email from a guy saying he has 3 but the chrome is peeling off. So i ask him what he wants he says 270. So to see what he has to see what he means by peeling off i get a email with this

He says this is the best one of the 3

he wants 270 plus shipping for these in this condition. i email him back and say sorry there is no way i will pay that plus shipping for a rim in that condition. I politely said sorry i have found quite a few sets of OEM rims in near Mint condition for 500 shipped.
I get a email back saying

dude there is no way you get oem rims for that shipped good luck


I just about laughed my ass off seeing as he thinks he had something someone wanted.
It would have taken a good bit of money to get those rechromed, and it wouldn't be worth my time or money to do that.

He said he didn't have pics of the front but they weren't as bad as the back part of the rim but if the chrome is peeling that bad on the back it's going to make it's way to the front really quick

That's what the insides on my old Cobra R's looked like. They looked OK on the part that shows.

That price for just three crap rims?...lol... My dad got 4 new 95 cobra r with nitto tires (315s in the back, used though) for 300 bucks. And Ive seen deals like that since then too. Craiglist is sweet
