now before you guys say "do the IAC mod" let me explain.

even since i put a tune from my xcal3 the rpms hang longer than they have before. and now with the new cams/intake they hang for at least 3 times longer.

is there any way to reduce this without doing the iac mod? or would that be the easiest/best way to do it?
its not throwing any codes and i dont hear any vacuum leaks anywhere so i'm fairly stumped.. dont get why its doing that.

iac mod is sooo dreaded but it does the job most of the time. i doubt the tuner would be the cause...

Mine always did that too, always. honestly, if it bother's you, do the IAC. I didn't learn about it until after I wrecked my car :hammer:

Richening it in the 0-2000 rpm range will help a bit.

well i bumped it up from 4% to 6% and that seemed to help abit.. and the power went up a fair bit too.

would changing the degree of advancing/retarding affect it at all? i have all rpms advanced 2 degrees right now.

Pulling timing in the same range will have about the same effect on dropping the idle.
