Has any one done a 351w swap?

my dream in my sn is a 400ci, i know it definetly wouldnt fit with the stock hood, but i wondering if it will clear period. headers radiator exc. any1 have some experience or have swapped one?

Yes it will fit. you will have to change stuff like the headers. i have a 351 sitting by my 94 gt right now that will probally be built next year

Yes, fox style oil pan kit from FRPP around 150 bucks. swap headers from mac, shorties, around 300 bucks. EFI windsor intake manifold, around 450 to 550. everything else is the same as a 302, you will need a 95 351 truck distributor if you use a roller cam, or if not then one from a 92 will drop right in. MSD makes them too, but much more expensive.

well not completely postitive on this one but... 88-95 trucks i think... it might just be 92-95 though.

i got long tubes on my 351w and hydrolic rollers are only 94- 97

I have Roush 351 shorty headers on mine, but you wont find those for sale easily and if you did you would pay out the butt. You will need an aftermarket hood. The 351 is slightly wider and has a 9.5 deck hence the need for a taller hood. If your serious about doing it dont put 302 parts on it.
