I was cleaning out the engine bay on my 95 this weekend and got around to the intake manifold and started messing with the plate on top and whatever is on it started flaking off so it looks stupid now, has anyone painted theirs? and if so how did you do this?

start by sanding off all the loose paint, if not all the paint. Clean it off, pic yer colors and don't forget to clear it.

and while you are at it and have it off the engine its a good time to give the whole intake a fesh coat, makes a big difference.

I think you can just unscrew the plaque up top then just shoot it with some spray paint after you clean it up.
