Headers/clearance

My engine buildup is coming in the next few weeks at Fastlane Motorsports, hopefully. I have everything I need except the headers, and at first I was going to buy the BBK shorties, because I have sportlines and I didn't want to scrub everything. I was wondering if any of you guys run sportlines and longtubes, because i'd really like the get those, i just don't know how my clearance will be.

Sportlines sit really low dude..

I have a buddy that has Pro-Kits and BBK LT's and there is no problem. Your gonna just have to wait and see..I'm thinking it is going to be REAL close.

Curious why you are going with LT's over shorties? From what I have seen the gain from shorties to LT's on the 2V's is not a huge difference like it is on a Pushrod.

Im Curenttly running Kook LT with Eibach Pro Series and its not to bad i scrap somtimes, high speed bumps weird dips usually in parking lots etc., i want to get some more drop with the sportlines series but im scraced im going to start scraping to much

I've been looking around, and I'm going to with the shorties, just to be safe. I'd like the longtubes but w/e, I'll save some money, too which is nice.

I've been looking at the BBK and the JBA Short tubes and I think i'm going with the BBK just because of cost really. Do you guys think going non-coated would be ok, cause I like the look of the chrome, I'm just afraid it might give off too much heat compared with the ceramic coated ones.
