I did, but then switched over to custom grind cams.. I made 600 range on pi cams and a D1sc.. I never got to run it at the track like this but the MPH cams are really nice

i dont know man. There are plenty of safer ways to reach the limits of these stock bottom ends without even touching the heads. I'm at 400/400 with stock NON PI heads and only stock PI cams

Yea but i don't really want to swap the PI heads back to NPI's. By the way, what converter are you running?

Im sitting on 376/360 rwhp/tq with my pi head swapped car and stage 2 npi cams plus the stuff in my sig. I'm using the factory thickness head gaskets and running 11* timing on 93 octane. I've been running it this way for almost 2 years now and best 1/4mile was a 12.27 @ 112mph last november.

Nice, I've been in contact with Darrin @ B.C. You have any problems with your converter? I've herd that they have problems locking up at WOT. I'll most likley be ordering a 3800 stall speed converter this Friday, I've been debaiting between B.C. and Dirty Dog.

I'm about to do it in a few weeks. I have all the parts to build my forged SB but don't have the extra cash to get the Teksid block properly line honed bored etc so i'm throwing my blower on. I already have Fox Lake PI heads and i'm gonna throw in my VT blower cams and see if it lasts all summer. I'm just gonna keep it at 6psi and not push my luck. My friend ran his with 8psi and a Vortech for 3 years with out an issue. He had a good tune and always ran 93 octane.

I'm running 15x6 in the front and 15x8 prostars in the rear with m/t drag radials. Best 60' was 1.72 on that 12.27 pass. I didn't expect to put the blower on this setup at first so I did the head swap and npi cams before I even had the blower. I then got a great deal on the whole procharger kit and decided to try my luck.

Well keep us posted on the results. I'm curious to see what kind of numbers that combo will produce. Do you know what numbers your buddy put down?

I see about 14psi, intercooled. With the blower cams in I expect to see about 12psi.

I would probably guess i will be in the 350 range with the small pulley on and very soft tune. My friend was making about 330rwhp with a basically stock PI swapped car and Vortech base kit. I know he wishes he still had it.
