Don't leave your car out to where they can get covered in frost/snow... problem solved.

probably need to look at the lincoln line to get that option, or install a hair dryer in each one.

I vote for the hair dryer but only because its not my car and I wand to see the video.

Oh you're crazy, they're awesome in the winter time. My DD has them and i love them, even helps a ton for foggy glass.

Yeah I live in Oregon & they would be nice! Love heated mirrors!! our 2000 Mercury Sable has them I wonder if you can just pull the glass & any associated heater parts out & install them in our housing...I bet you can they are almost the same shape

I have em on my Expo and when it is really icy out it is pretty nice to not have to worry about the mirrors. I'm sure you could modify the stock mirrors somehow though. Or just get a winter beater with heated mirrors.

Keep your mustang warm, problem solved.

This. My 98 has 0 rust and lives in my garage most of the time. A lot of ppl don't have a garage or access to one though and their stang is their only vehicle.

Well... when living in an apartment that rivals a small garage for size, actually getting to keep the car in a proper garage doesn't tend to work out well... :D

Been there, sucks when you go from a roommate and a house with a two car garage to by yourself and an apt with no garage and a car that was in almost mint condition up until that point. One of the reasons I sold that Cobra, it got rained on and started to do the mustang corrode/rust thing. Not bad and probably much better than most DD stangs but I'm anal retentive about corrosion and am not going to put $thousands in mods into something that is going to have a rust issue one day but that's just me. Like I said my 98 never sees inclement weather and has been garaged for almost its entire life by the previous owners as well.
