The race is on November 16th and 17th. I don't know when the episode will air, and I don't know whether I'll get picked for the final 16 and be on the show.

What I DO know . . . is that Hellion is skeered to show up!! :noes:

i know they choose cars that are very very close together but i thought i still remembered them doing that.. now that i think of it though. they usually get the cars so tight (like tenths away from each other).. it wouldn't make since to do lengths.. lol ill give you 4 inches?..... yeah i guess your right.

i think pulling over a "G" when you take a turn is more fun ;D

Road track racing is much funner simply because of time.

1 minute vs 15-30 minutes. Fun stuff.
Drag racing is still fun. and I'm willing to bet the "feel" of Tad's or Hellion's car would make us think twice.

..turning is more fun...Road racing is like "Big Boy" Go-Karts.

Maybe after Brian sees this thread I can convince him to put making the car even faster on hold for while and go out and run you with the "slow" setup. Happen to see all the new stuff in my build thread?

He is coming down to the shop today, so I'll make sure he sees this thread also. It's on now though....not that it wasn't before

I think road racing stuff is a blast, in fact that's what I'm setting up my Yellow car for, but I also happen to think pulling SEVERAL G's on launch with the front end dangling in the air due to the sheer acceleration, and then traveling through the traps at higher speeds than most "high performance" vehicles can reach on a ten mile stretch of road is way better.
