Welcome ! We love new members from different parts of the world...glad you like our cars!
Ok...there is absolutely nothing wrong with the SN95 cars in years 94 & 95...the last of the pushrod 302's, They are well proven & the engines last for 200,000 miles to over 300,000 miles. I am approaching 200k on mine & it runs perfect so don't be afraid of those years. The main difference I encounter is that their computer is specific to those 2 years so it is harder to find tuning shops that are good with them. the 96-98 years with the 4.6 engine is a bit easier to find, but that engine is a bit more technical to work on & some parts not as plentiful. So each has a few things to be aware of. Nothing really difficult to overcome just be advised.
The 302(5.0) has tons of aftermarket heads, cams, intakes etc. and would be a blast for you to work on yourself. You could always learn to tune the ECU yourself which would be a great way to go...no worries about a speed shop in Iceland for tuning & you are independent then. Read up all you can on the tech articles here & elsewhere...ask lotsa of questions & have fun!
